LAVETT Parts Ways With Bassist, Announces Replacement
July 14, 2009LAVETT, the new Swedish five-piece consisting of musicians who have spent the last ten years making albums and touring with such acts as LOST HORIZON, BESEECH, TWDSO (THOSE WE DON'T SPEAK OF) and SUNDOWN/CEMETARY, has parted ways with bassist Michael Niklasson (ex-DARK TRANQULLITY) and has replaced him with Henric Carlsson (ex-NIGHTRAGE, DEAD BY APRIL).
LAVETT is currently recording its debut album at Studiomega in Varberg, Sweden.

LAVETT made its live debut at Sticky Fingers in Gothenburg, Sweden on January 30. Check out photos at www.lavett.net.
According to a press release, LAVETT's sound is "a perfect blend of their musical ideals. Taking the listener from beautiful landscapes of melodies to a raw, unpolished and powerful rock nirvana. Even though you may know the LAVETT members from before. You'll have had no way to prepare yourself for what they're bringing to your speakers this time around."
